Super Eagles Drawn Against Tunisia, Uganda, and Tanzania in AFCON 2025 Group Stage



The Super Eagles of Nigeria have been drawn into Group C for the upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), where they will face Tunisia, Uganda, and Tanzania. The draw took place on Monday, January 27, 2025, at the Mohamed V National Theatre in Rabat, Morocco. 

The tournament is scheduled to run from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026, across six Moroccan cities. The Super Eagles, three-time AFCON champions, are aiming to secure their fourth title after narrowly missing out in the previous edition. 

The full group stage draw is as follows:

Group A: Morocco, Mali, Zambia, Comoros

Group B: Egypt, South Africa, Angola, Zimbabwe

Group C: Nigeria, Tunisia, Uganda, Tanzania

Group D: Senegal, DR Congo, Benin, Botswana

Group E: Algeria, Burkina Faso, Equatorial Guinea, Sudan

Group F: Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Gabon, Mozambique
