Mohbad's Widow Addresses Paternity Controversy Amidst Online Harassment

Omowunmi Aloba, the widow of the late Nigerian singer Mohbad, has recently spoken out regarding the ongoing controversy surrounding the paternity of their son, Liam. In an interview with TVC News, Omowunmi expressed her distress over the relentless bullying and online harassment she has faced since her husband's untimely death.

Omowunmi described herself as "the most bullied widow in Nigeria," highlighting the intense scrutiny and demands for a DNA test to confirm her son's paternity. She revealed that her father-in-law, Joseph Aloba, has been particularly insistent on the DNA test, even making disparaging remarks about Liam's physical appearance. According to Omowunmi, Joseph questioned Liam's legitimacy by pointing out his bow legs and suggesting that his facial features appear older than his age.

Despite the pressure, Omowunmi has expressed her willingness to undergo the DNA test but has concerns about the process. She stated that her father-in-law and his legal team insisted that the results should not be made public and that she should refrain from taking legal action based on the outcome.

The situation has been further complicated by public figures weighing in on the matter. Actress Iyabo Ojo criticized those pressuring Omowunmi for a DNA test, urging the public to be sensitive and to cease the bullying.

This controversy has added to the challenges Omowunmi faces as she navigates life after her husband's passing, dealing with both familial disputes and public scrutiny.
